Mission Accomplished - Memorial Day 2025
Thank you to everyone who braved the misty conditions at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on May 26th to help us honor and mourn the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military at the 2025 Memorial Day Ceremony. LTC Adrien G. Humphreys, Commander of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant, delivered an inspiring tribute, and numerous volunteers insured the dignity of the event.
Special thanks to the following:
- Travis Graham and the staff of the Veterans Cemetery for their professionalism in making sure this event went off without a hitch.

RAAP Change of Command Ceremony
Hail and Farewell
Judy Foster, Chairman of the SWVAVCV, attended the Change of Command Ceremony at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RAAP) as Lt. Col. Marie Hough accepted the responsibilities on June 5th. She replaces outgoing commander, Lt. Col. Adrien Humphreys. The Volunteers thank Lt. Col. Humphreys for her support and look forward to working with Lt. Col. Hough.
